 
 
 
Cotweetwatjebespaart is a application that got produced for Immersive Media Design group project of my study CMD. I created this application with other students, while I was part of the whole design proces.
Th application is a redesign of the current HAN4me app, and adds the behavioural change of living a more sustainable life. This sustainable life gets promoted by challenges and gamification elements within the application.
The goal of the application is to motivate the user to emit as few Co2 as possible, as end goal to reduce the total Co2 footprint of the HAN Arnhem. Besides reduction of Co2 emission was the project also a overhaul of the current HAN4me application, to make it more user friendly. This goal is succeded by creating a new design of the application, and after testing it reached it’s goal of being more user friendly.
In the application the user can save Co2 by doing ecofriendly tasks, ranging from use reuseable cups to working from home. These ecofriendly tasks get shown to the user in form of daily and weekly challenges. With the ecofriendly tasks the total Co2 saved gets calculated, and added to a leaderboard. This leaderboard the users compete to other students and friends in terms who saved the most Co2.
